2701123 Communication Skills in Social Work Practice
Course Description :
Preparing students in basic social work skills at the individual level. These skills are to be learned in a clinical design emphasizing experiential leaning, feedback, and critical review of students own performance. Students will also master generic interviewing skills for use primarily in direct practice. Extensive use will be made of role-play simulations, audio/video tapes analyses, and feedback in the context of learning group. Active participation of students is required.
